The following sample projects demonstrate the expertise of our professionals:

Project: Pfizer Computerized Maintenance Management System
Location: New Jersey, USA
Project Summary: Established a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for a maintenance department with 100 employees operating 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. The existing maintenance practices were benchmarked against industry best practices and a CMMS software package was selected to incorporate corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance along with inventory management for spare parts. Installed new computer hardware and software and populated data base with critical equipment listings. Tagged all critical equipment in the plant to ensure accurate historical records. Tagged the spare parts inventory and established critical reordering points. Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for preventative and predictive maintenance procedures. Trained the maintenance department to use the new CMMS.

Project: Pfizer Electrical Power Quality Improvement
Location: New Jersey, USA
Project Summary: Surveyed the manufacturing plant to identify the sources of electrical power quality disturbances that were adversely affecting the automated manufacturing equipment. Analyzed data from sophisticated electrical monitoring equipment to identify, characterize and document electrical power quality disturbances such as surges, sags, outages, impulses and harmonic distortion. Specified corrective actions and installed electrical equipment to improve electrical power quality and reliability. Coordinated the project with the local electrical power utility to ensure their compliance with regulations set by the state board of public utilities.
