The following sample projects demonstrate the expertise of our professionals:

Project: Pfizer Howmedica Division Research and Development Building
Location: New Jersey, USA
Project Summary: Managed design and construction for a 50,000 sq. ft. medical product research and development laboratory building renovation. The building's infrastructure was upgraded to support the expansion of the R&D laboratories. The project required extensive planning and scheduling with the R&D personnel to keep the occupied building operational during the construction phase. The project was challenging due to its critical tolerance requirements for temperature, humidity, and air pressure control. Performed professional services including consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, and supervision of design and construction. Directed design engineers, architects, contractors and tradesmen. Prepared, reviewed and approved design calculations, specifications, drawings and construction. Responsible for heating, ventilating, air conditioning, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting, architectural, carpentry, structural, masonry and fire protection sprinkler systems. The equipment installed included 120/208/480 volt electrical distribution panels and wiring, fluorescent lighting, central chillers with air-handling units, HEPA filters, dust collection ductwork, deionized water, USP water, wet sprinklers, compressed air, laboratory casework, fume hoods, perchloric acid hoods, computer data center and steel mezzanines. The project complied with the applicable FDA cGLP regulations, building codes, zoning regulations, environmental regulations, OSHA standards and insurance requirements.
